Belvedere Stables offers training for sporthorses of all ages and breeds in Dressage up to 3rd Level, Hunters/Jumpers and eventing. We also offer Sales and Marketing Services and Breed Inspection Services.
We specialize in breaking and training of young or green sporthorses of all breeds, but we also welcome boarders who would like to enroll their horses in any of our training packages.

Full Training (2 lessons/wk. included)
This training program is a long term or short term option for absentee owners and/or horses that require full training, may it be advancement through the levels or problems to be resolved. There is no time commitment unless a horse is to be started under saddle.
Our optional Young Horse Program
Starting horses under saddle requires generally a 3 month commitment. Horses are NOT required to be halter broke or handled prior to training commitment, but you might have to allow for extra time in that case. Just fetch them from the pasture and drop them off! Your horse will graduate after three months with perfect ground manners and training level skills after having participated at a local schooling show for a first experience (if available). You will be joined with your new horse under saddle before completing the training commitment. Of course you can extend the training contract at your discretion if desired.

My training philosophy is based on creating a confident, balanced partner. I cross train my horses in Dressage, jumping, trail, and cross-country to keep them mentally and physically fit. I also strongly believe in respecting and celebrating each horse as an individual, and tailoring my training approach to suit their individual needs, as well as the needs of their riders.
In my students, I encourage self-analysis and independent thought. I not only want to show my students how to do something correctly, I want them to understand why it is the correct way. With the ability to assess and appropriately react to a situation, my students gain the ability to perform successfully both in the show arena and while schooling alone.
